Hi!
I am Ashley!
I'm a Christian, mom, wife, pastor, dog mom, painter, and foodie! My
favorite Bible verses are Psalm 46:10 and Psalm 118:24.
I am a native Georgian. I grew up in Duluth, GA and loved my home church –
Duluth UMC. I attended LaGrange College where I met my husband, Trey. After
undergraduate I attended Emory’s Candler School of Theology where I received my
Masters of Divinity. In addition, I received a Women in Theology and Ministry
certificate.
I have enjoyed serving the church and beyond in several positions. I twice
served as a summer missionary in Zambia and have served as the young adult
chairperson for North Georgia Conference.
I was the chair of the District Committee on Ordained Ministry (DCOM). Previous
pastoral positions have been North Georgia United Methodist Conference: Office
of Ministerial Services and Dunwoody UMC. While in seminary I served as a youth
director.
My passions include my faith, preaching, art, and missions. I love creating
paintings based on scripture verses and devotionals. I consider myself a big
foodie and love to enjoy good fellowship around a table.
My husband Trey is the Medication Safety Officer for Wellstar Healthcare
system. We have a fun little boy named William. William loves dinosaurs, Paw
Patrol, playing, and swimming. We love taking our two Shih Tzus (Jesse and
Tucker) on walks.
