  • Rev. Steve lyle

    The Rev. Steven Lyle has been a United Methodist Church pastor for 38 years and has served as lead pastor at several churches including Dalton First UMC, Mt. Zion UMC in East Cobb, and Smyrna FUMC. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. degree in Psychology and then received a Master’s of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory. Prior to attending Emory, Rev. Lyle served full time as staff member for the Campus Crusade for Christ ministry at the University of South Florida.  Rev. Lyle was the founding pastor of the Trinity UMC here in Cartersville which began ministering in 1983 and has returned as lead pastor for the Trinity at the Well UMC.

  • rev. dr. mark jordan

    Mark and his wife, Tiffany, have been married 19 years. They have two children: Ethan, who is a junior at Cartersville High School, and Mia, who is in kindergarten at Cartersville Primary. Mark and his family moved to the Cartersville area in the summer of 2016 to serve as pastor for Church at The Well. Prior to living in Cartersville, Mark served as the lead pastor at Cokes Chapel UMC near Newnan, The Lighthouse UMC in Peachtree City, Coal Mountain and The Springs UMC in Cumming, and as the associate pastor at Saint Andrew UMC in Marietta. Mark received a doctorate in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and is licensed through the National Christian Counselors Association. He received his Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgia State University.
